Fluency in UofM's process comes first

Specific answers in UofM's own terms are a good sign. Answers that could apply to any school suggest the service treats UofM as one more name on a long list.
Warning signs to take seriously
Be wary of any service that promises UofM's approval or a fixed start date. Those decisions belong to the Office of Community Partnerships and Practice and your clinical faculty, and a promise about them is a promise about someone else's call.
Other signs deserve a second look: a preceptor handed over with no check of the setting against your track, a placement at your own employer with no mention of UofM's rule, a health system whose student application window has already closed, and terms that shift once the search is under way. Do you work with Nursing Education and Leadership students?
Yes. Each of those MSN concentrations carries two immersion courses, a 120-hour immersion followed by a 240-hour residency, and the matching certificates use the same courses. We find qualified preceptors for both immersions, and for Nursing Education students we line up a new site for the residency, as UofM requires.
